 1. Warehouse / Internal Sales - Waterloo, NSW

The Role

We are currently seeking a full-time Warehouse/Internal Salesteam member to contribute to the day-to-day operations of our Waterloo branch. This opportunity requires someone who is willing to work within a small team committed to providing an outstanding service to our customers. This includes counter service and ensuring all duties and activities of the warehouse are carried out in an accurate, timely and efficient manner.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Picking and packing of orders including courier and transport documentation
  • Ensure safe warehouse operations, especially regarding forklift use
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Offloading and loading pallets
  • Putting away stock in the warehouse
  • General maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse and branch
  • Conducting stock checks and solving discrepancies regarding stock and orders
  • Developing relationships and identifying customer needs. This involves assisting with the front counter, serving customers and answering calls
  • Learning and continually developing product knowledge for CSD's range of access control, security systems and CCTV surveillance
  • Processing returns for credit; warranty returns, customer orders and quotation requests and branch transfers
  • Liaising with customers via phone and email to assist in answering queries regarding products, pricing, orders, stock, delivery and account queries

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • Confidence in dealing with customers and the ability to form strong relationships
  • A positive can-do attitude, willingness to learn and dedication
  • Physical capabilities to lift and move heavy boxes
  • Forklift and driver's licence (essential) 
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as a team
  • Must have very good attention to detail with regards to stock control and administrative duties
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrate exceptional initiative and professional attitude
  • Intermediate PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Previous experience working in the electronic security industry will be an advantage but is not essential.

2. Business Development Manager - ACT/NSW

The Role

We are looking for an experienced BDM to work in the ACT/NSW region. You will be required to work with and support our NSW & ACT teams. You will be based in NSW and will require to travel ACT on regular basis. Reporting to the NSW/ACT State Manager, your role will involve managing an existing portfolio of accounts whilst developing new accounts and seeking opportunities for new business.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and building relationships with established accounts in an assigned territory/market segment to generate new business
  • Analysing product suitability for relevant projects and creating detailed product lists from project specifications
  • Analysing the territory/market’s potential and determining the value of existing and prospective customers
  • Support and implement national sales initiatives and programs where required
  • Providing accurate system design, written quotations and proposals.
  • Conducting products demonstrations and presentations for existing and prospective customers and consultants.
  • Systematically recording activities in CRM application
  • Supplying management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • Knowledge of current CCTV and access control systems with a focus on integration
  • IT knowledge relevant to the security industry
  • Proven record in sales, negotiation and business development
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • A current, unrestricted driver's licence

3. Technical Support - Mulgrave, VIC

The Role

As the result of a recent internal promotion, we currently have an exciting full-time opportunity at our Mulgrave Branch.

Reporting to the National Tech Support Manager, this hands-on position includes servicing incoming calls to our national technical support line. You will be working with the latest CCTV, Access control and electronic alarm system products.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Service incoming calls to our National Technical Support Line
  • Provide technical expertise for security products, including IP Networks, CCTV, DVRs, Cameras and Wi-Fi solutions - for the national business.
  • Solve technical problems and communicating with people over the phone (primarily) and face-to-face
  • Offer remote Technical Support for our customers in-field and internal employees, across all areas of our security products
  • Troubleshoot HW/SW issues, IP network dilemmas and assisting our sales team in supporting our customers.
  • Give pre-sale consultations and post-sales advice on both IP and analogue technologies
  • Setup systems in-house to simulate and troubleshoot problems in-field
  • Assist in the evaluation process for new security products
  • Support tender bids and provide technical input for quotes

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Relevant IT qualifications and knowledge
  • An interest in electronics’ is an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding phone etiquette
  • A strong interest in new technology and development
  • A high level of customer service
  • An enthusiasm to learn and grow with the business
  • The ability to build relationships with people
  • Industry experience dealing with security products involving IP technologies - would be beneficial but is not essential
