1. Internal Sales - Seven Hills, NSW

The Role

We are currently seeking a full-time internal salesperson to join our Seven Hills branch to contribute to the functioning of our NSW business. This opportunity requires someone who is willing to take ownership of our busy trade counter, and work within a team committed to providing outstanding customer service.

This is a multi-functional role that is suited to a committed person that is wanting career progression and a long-term opportunity.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Being the first point of contact for the branch, including assisting customers over the trade counter
  • Answering incoming calls
  • Processing customer orders and requests
  • Providing quotations based on customer specifications and needs
  • Liaising with customers via phone and email to assist in answering queries regarding products, pricing, orders, stock, delivery and account queries
  • Building relationships and rapport with customers
  • Cross-selling and up-selling products to customers
  • Conducting demonstrations and providing technical insight into products to assist with the sales process
  • Learning and continually developing product knowledge for CSD's range of access control, security systems and CCTV surveillance
  • Assisting with branch support, administration and general ad-hoc

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a strong understanding of customer service and show confidence in dealing with customers and forming great relationships. You must have excellent communication skills and experience with conflict resolution. You'll be dedicated to continuously learning new products and technologies. Your skills will include attention to detail, and an ability to multi-task within a varied work environment that insists a lot of responsibility.

Previous experience working in a wholesale/trade counter environment will be an advantage but is not essential.

2. Credit Control Assistant (Junior) - Tullamarine, VIC

The Role

We are currently seeking a Credit Control Assistant to support our Accounts Receivable team and work out of our Tullamarine head office. Reporting to the Credit Control Manager, this is a permanent full-time position. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Processing Credit & COD applications
  • Cash and EFT receipts
  • Sending invoices, credit notes and statement
  • Inbound / outbound customer calls
  • Verifying discrepancies and resolving customer billing queries
  • Facilitating payment of invoices due by sending reminders

About you

This role is open to entry level candidates and new graduates.

  • Work experience as an accounts receivable clerk
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and fair credit practices
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Data entry skills
  • Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Customer service and negotiation skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Degree or certification in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration

Essential Criteria

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Intermediate-advanced MS Office skills
  • Valid rights to work in Australia

3. Administration Assistant - Tullamarine, VIC

The Role

We are currently seeking an Administration Assistant to support our Accounts Receivable team and work out of our Tullamarine Head Office. This position reports to the Credit Control Manager. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Processing applications
  • Generating invoices and account statements
  • Maintaining Accounts Receivable files and records
  • Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries
  • General adhoc administration duties

About you

This role is open to entry level candidates and new graduates.

  • An ability to prioritise and manage expectations
  • A keen eye for detail
  • An ability to work independently
  • The ability to communicate efficiently with other people within the company
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office and data entry
  • The ability to learn new software and processes

4. Warehouse Associate - Tullamarine, Victoria

The Role

We are currently seeking a full-time store-person to operate our Tullamarine warehouse and effectively contribute to the functioning of our National Distribution Centre. This opportunity requires someone who is willing to work within a team, committed to providing an outstanding service to our customers and has the potential for career growth within the CSD team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Picking, packaging and dispatching orders
  • Using our Internal Software Package to amend, dispatch and complete orders
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Offloading and loading pallets
  • Operating a forklift
  • Counting and checking stock to ensure quality control
  • Ensure safe warehouse operations, especially regarding forklift use
  • Solve discrepancies regarding stock and orders
  • Liaise with couriers regarding orders and deliveries
  • Work closely with interstate teams to ensure a high level of service
  • General maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of customer service
  • Problem solving and decision-making abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is essential
  • Demonstrated organisational skills including the ability to work under pressure and multitask
  • Intermediate PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Physical capabilities to lift and move heavy boxes
  • Motivation to succeed and advance within the company
  • Full drivers licence
  • Current Forklift licence
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred by not essential
