1. Tech Support Junior - Seven Hills, NSW

The Role 

As the result of a recent internal promotion, we currently have an exciting full-time opportunity at our Seven Hills Branch.

Reporting to the National Tech Support Manager, this hands-on position includes servicing incoming calls to our national technical support line. You will be working with the latest CCTV, Access control and electronic alarm system products.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Service incoming calls to our National Technical Support Line
  • Provide technical expertise for security products, including IP Networks, CCTV, DVRs, Cameras and Wifi solutions - for the National business.
  • Solve technical problems and communicating with people over the phone (primarily) and face-to-face
  • Offer remote Technical Support for our customers in-field and internal employees, across all areas of our security products
  • Troubleshoot HW/SW issues, IP network dilemmas and assisting our sales team in supporting our customers.
  • Give pre-sale consultations and post-sales advice on both IP and Analogue technologies
  • Setup systems in-house to simulate and troubleshoot problems in-field
  • Assist in the evaluation process for new security products
  • Support tender bids and provide technical input for quotes

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Relevant IT qualifications and knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding phone etiquette
  • A strong interest in new technology and development
  • A high level of customer service

The Role

We are currently seeking a full-time internal sales representative to join the growing teams at our Waterloo branch. This opportunity requires someone who is willing to work independently within a small branch committed to providing an outstanding service to our customers.

This role is varied and involves a lot of responsibility.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Being the first point of contact for the branch, including serving customers over the Trade Counter
  • Answering incoming calls
  • Processing customer orders via the counter, phone and email requests
  • Providing quotations based on customer specifications and needs
  • Liaising with customers via phone and email to assist in answering queries regarding products, pricing, orders, stock, delivery and account queries
  • Building relationships and rapport with customers
  • Cross-selling and up-selling products to customers
  • Learning and continually developing product knowledge for CSD's range of access control, security systems and CCTV surveillance
  • Conducting demonstrations and providing technical insight into products to assist with the sales process
  • Assisting with the returns and backorder processes
  • Assisting with general branch support, administration and general ad-hoc
  • Supporting the external sales team and management

4. Internal Sales - Fyshwick, ACT

The Role

This is a newly created role reporting to the ACT State Manager.

In your role of Internal Sales, you will become the first point of contact for the branch, and autonomously manage the busy Trade Counter. You will maintain a high level of customer service by building customer rapport, and ensuring all phone, counter and email enquiries are handled efficiently. In general, you will contribute to the back-end functioning of the branch and assist with inventory control and customer returns.

As you progress in the role and develop your product knowledge, you will conduct customer demonstrations and provide technical insight into products to assist with the sales process.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Experience in selling consumer electronics, accessories, IT hardware or whitegoods

5. Store/Counter Sales Assistant - Marleston, SA

The Role

As the result of a recent internal promotion, we currently have an exciting full-time opportunity at our Marleston Branch.

Reporting to the state manager, this hands-on position includes some customer service at our sales counter, working with the latest CCTV, access control and electronic alarm system products.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Liaising with our sales team to ensure customers’ orders and back-orders are processed quickly and customers notified when order is ready
  • Picking and packing of orders including courier and transport details
  • Maintaining stock on shelves
  • Assisting with Stock-takes and stock checks
  • General maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse and branch
  • Assisting customers as required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Good communication skills and proven record of working within a team
  • Great customer service skills
  • Attention to detail with regards to stock control and administrative duties
  • Demonstrate initiative and good work attitude
  • A knowledge of electronics and computers would be an advantage
  • Although most of our products are small and light, you should have the physical capability to move heavier boxes.
